Diary is the third book of the Ripe series. The narrator’s entries span a two-year period from age 9 to age 11. This book explores the transitional period from a little girl’s body to a young woman’s. It also raises the question of what love is as she struggles with the divorce of her parents and the introduction of a half-sister into her world.
